Cody Rhodes gives no reasons after Grand Slam loss against Malakai Black
AEW star Cody Rhodes returned to in-ring business against Malakai Black at the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam show. But unfortunately for him, it ended on a lost cause for him.
After the loss, Rhodes took this to Twitter to share his reaction regarding both the match and the statement about him turning Hollywood.
Rhodes said while reacting to David LaGreca that his coach Arm Anderson can say whatever he wants as he’s the coach. Rhodes has nothing but love for him. He said that his outside commitments didn’t get him the loose, acknowledging his defeat against Black. Rhodes mentioned having no excuses.
“Oh, Dave ha – AA can do and say whatever he wants, that’s the reason he’s the coach. Nothing but love. But my outside commitments didn’t get me the L, dude spit in my face and stacked me with the pin. No excuses.”
At the initial stages of the game, Black took the upper hand, but Cody did come back with some fight back, but Cody crashed into Anderson and went outside the ring, which gave Black the advantage and rolled him up for the pin.
Cody pulled off the infamous character of Homelander outfit for the AEW Grand Slam Show. The fans went crazy after watching him wear the costume during the entrance.
Homelander is one of the stars in The Boys series and flirts between being a hero and a villain.
The fans lit up Twitter with their reaction to Cody’s new Outfit for the show.
