Rumors of former WWE Paige moving to AEW have been rife
It has been over 3 years since Paige wrestled. The WWE Women’s superstar was having a phenomenal run in the WWE, ever since making her promotional debut in 2012.
Had it not been for severe injuries (neck especially) she would have still been going strong. Paige announced her in-ring retirement in the second week of April 2018.
However, she has remained a part of the WWE – she is still a part of the promotion, although her role is unknown.
Owing to the same, there have been rumors afloat that the Englishwoman might make a move to AEW.
In the wake of this, Paige took to Twitter tweeting – “Paige here.” Her Tweet was met with a variety of responses, with many speculating that she might be a part of the ongoing 2021 WWE Draft.
Speculations of a move to AEW were also discussed in the reply section.
Twitter reacts as AEW superstar Cody Rhodes responds to Paige
Former WWE superstar and AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes replied to Paige’s Tweet.
He wrote:
“Huge pop from me.”
With rumors of Paige moving to AEW already being widespread, this response from Rhodes further hinted that it might very well be happening.
