Dax Harwood channels his inner Vince McMahon by asking fans to join special club

FTR’s Dax Harwood wasn’t in the mood for criticism from some AEW fans as he brought out his inner Vince McMahon

Dash Harwood and Cash Wheeler put up the AEW tag team titles on this week’s Dynamite.

FTR, as they are known, are one of the best tag teams in the history of wrestling. They have won nearly everything there is to win in the world of wrestling and defended their titles against SCU.

FTR are the AEW tag champions (AEW)

FTR were the favourites for this clash but SCU put up a great fight and it seemed they were set to win the match and the titles.

However, Tully Blanchard, the manager of FTR saved the team by interfering in the match. That didn’t sit well with many AEW fans and they called out the champions.

Harwood, for his part, is an excellent heel and brought up a special club made famous by Vince McMahon.

Kiss my a** club

The WWE head was known for his special “kiss my a**” club where he asked several stars to join. This was done to ensure the stars would stay inline or keep their job.

McMahon has asked some WWE legends to do the same, especially during the Attitude Era, and this was a play on his role as being the tough boss of the promotion.

Chairman of WWE Vince McMahon (WWE)

Thankfully, McMahon has stopped such activities as WWE has tried to become a more PG show. AEW, however, isn’t completely child-friendly and Harwood brought up his old McMahon self on social media.

FTR, The Revival during their time in WWE, didn’t always see eye to eye with McMahon. They have hit out on WWE in the past and continue doing that on social media too.

Harwood and Wheeler have been incredible since making the jump from WWE to AEW. They should face the Young Bucks in a much-awaited bout but it seems we will have to wait a bit before seeing the quartet in action.
