Dax Harwood sent a strong message to the AEW tag division
Dax Harwood of FTR took to Twitter to send a warning to the rest of the AEW tag team division.
This was a jab at Pentagon of the Lucha Brothers, and how they don’t always follow the rules of a tag team match.
Harwood tweeted a message to Pentagon and asked him to learn the rules of a tag match:
“Don’t come back until you learn the rules of a tag team wrestling match. We’re running this now. #FTR“
The Lucha Brothers have featured regularly on AEW, but haven’t been able to do that in recent weeks due to travel restrictions. Hopefully, they return to action soon, and not make a mess of the tag rules.
The Revival was a very popular tag team in WWE. They regularly fought the best WWE tag teams and they performed well individually as well. The Revival actually started performing at NXT and slowly made their way to the main roster.
The Revival had a few problems with the way they were being handled by WWE. That is why they asked WWE to release them multiple times. This year they finally got released and are now part of the independent circuit. They are no longer known as The Revival though.
The tag-team duo are better known to the WWE Universe as The Revival and were called Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder while working for Vince McMahon.
Harwood and Wheeler turned up in a truck to hit the ring and save The Young Bucks from The Butcher and The Blade. Now known as FTR, it appeared they were about to align themselves with Butcher and Blade to take out their long-time rivals from back in their indy days.
But instead, they hit a spike piledriver and Shatter Machine to come to the Bucks’ aid.
Stars are usually barred from appearing for rival companies upon release from WWE for 60 days, however, they were free to sign and debut for AEW as there was not a non-compete clause attached into their deals.
The duo also featured on this week’s AEW and seem set to battle for the tag titles in the future.
