Cody Rhodes faces Lance Archer in the final fo the TNT Championship
Cody Rhodes, the son of Dusty Rhodes tweeted about being the underdog ahead of TNT Championship finals for AEW.
Rhodes openly told that he disliked Archer in an interview last week. Archer came into the promotion several weeks ago with WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts promising a changing of the order.
Archer has since gone on a tear, stacking up three easy victories, including a first-round bout over Colt Cabana to advance in the TNT championship tournament.
AEW Dynamite featured more tournament action as Cody advanced in a great opening match against Darby Allin, while Lance Archer defeated Dustin Rhodes in the main event.
The stage is set for a finals matchup between Archer and Rhodes in a TNT Championship chase rife with backwards booking.

It’s not to say that AEW isn’t interested in any of the recently released WWE Superstars. Cody Rhodes said that Zack Ryder can get over again after WWE axed his old friend Matt Cardona.
After announcing changes being made to its business amid the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, WWE released as many as 15 superstars. Additionally, it was recently revealed that the tag team The Revival had been granted a release from their WWE contracts.
