AEW Dynamite episode of April 20, 2022, will air on TBS from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – let us know about the preview, match card, Predictions, Venue and Timings.
This episode of AEW Dynamite will be featuring Tony Khan’s Huge Announcement, CM Punk will go one-on-one against Dustin Rhodes, and more as AEW gets geared up for Double or Nothing, which will take place in the next couple of weeks.
1. Tony Khan’s Huge Announcement
His last colossal announcement came in which he informed the World that he had bought the Ring of Honor. Khan will now make another announcement on this week’s Dynamite episode.
Some speculations and long-standing rumours of a streaming device for ROH and AEW libraries. But it’s pretty sure that this time, the forbidden door might be used for an AEW-NJP supershow or maybe Khan has secured the television deal for Ring of Honor, or it can be another new signing.
However, the best guess from mus side is that this announcement will be Ring of Honor related.
2. CM Punk vs Dustin Rhodes
CM Punk has constantly been dropping hints from the past month that he wants to be next in line for a shot at AEW Word Title held by Adam Page. So we may be heading towards a Page-Punk clash for the next PPV.
He will take on Dustin Rhodes, a veteran who can still do it all. On Wednesday, we can predict that Rhodes will do his part to move Punk one step closer to the title shot against Page.
Predictions: CM Punk def. Dustin Rhodes
3. Jungle Boy vs Kyle O’ Reilly in Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifier
Last week we saw Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus retaining the AEW Tag Team Championships over Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. However, it has been announced that Jungle Boy will tell fae O’Reilly in Tournament Qualifier, and this is an excellent opportunity for some revenge for ReDragon.
Bobby Fish is expected to make interference and cost Jungle Boy the match, and since O” Reilly is a Canadian born wrestler, it will be lovely to see him go big.
Predictions: Kyle O’Reilly def. Jungle Boy
4. Britt Baker vs Danielle Kamela in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifier
The Women’s side of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will see hometown hero Britt Baker return to the ring for the first time since losing the AEW Women’s Title to Thunder Rosa as she takes on Danielle Kamela in a qualifier match.
Kamela has made some Dark appearances for AEW and was a familiar one in WWE NXT. Baker should win the match and go deep in the tournament.
Predictions: Britt Baker def. Danielle Pamela
5. Hook vs Tony Nesse
Hook will make his AEW Dynamite debut on this week’s episode as he takes on Tony Nesse in one-on-one action. Nese is a veteran who is rock-solid in the ring. He will try to put away the less experience Hook.
Predictions: Hook def. Tony Nesse
6. Wardlow vs The Butcher
After weeks of being barred from AEW venues, Warlow is invited this week to compete against The Butcher in one on one action. AEW has done a brilliant job of keeping the feud red hot until these two faces each other at the PPV.
MJF will definitely make an interface and become a roadblock in this match. He will make sure that The Butcher picks up the win. Wardlow will overcome all that MJF puts in front of him.
Predictions: Wardlow def. The Butcher
7. Andrade El Idolo vs Darby Allin in a Coffin Match
Andrade El Idolo and Darby Allin will compete in just the second-ever coffin match in AEW. It will make more sense if Andrade picks up the win. However, it seems like the time is nearing for Allin to split with The Sting and become a heel, as it will allow him to evolve as a character.
Andrade is still building his reputation in AEW, and with more big wins, he can become better. However, Darby will be avenging his earlier single’s loss to Andrade, which ended their feud. It will be a tough contest between the two. Things will heat up more as we build towards Double or Nothing.
Predictions: Darby Allin def. Andrade El Idolo.
