Fan offers Straight Edge CM Punk alcohol on this week’s AEW
AEW Rampage was an event not to forget for many reasons, One of them being a fan offering CM Punk alcohol! Yes, You heard it right.
As CM Punk was making his way down to commentate the main event between his future opponent Darby Allin and Daniel Garcia, Punk decided to jump in the crowd. What he did not expect was a fan offering him alcohol, This is what happened:
Ever since making his debut with the WWE in 2006, Punk always made it known that he is straight edge; that is, he doesn’t do drugs, drink alcohol or smoke. He has always shown pride in never doing drugs, smoking or drinking alcohol that is, being Straight Edge.
He also revealed that this is the lifestyle he chose and has never seen the need of drinking, smoking, etc. This is one of the many reasons behind his popularity. Punk always took a stand for being Straight Edge and has surely influenced a lot of individuals to do the same as well.
CM Punk’s debut match under AEW promotion
Punk made his long awaited pro wrestling return on Aug 21st episode of AEW Rampage. The return came after seven long years and it sent the fans into a frenzy. Punk revealed that he was back and he was hungrier than ever.
Punk challenged Allin to match at AEW All Out and it has since been confirmed that CM Punk will make his return to the ring as wrestler at AEW All Out on Sep 5th at his hometown Chicago.
