Chris Jericho is one of the top stars on AEW but has lent his voice as a commentator recently
Former AEW Champion Chris Jericho has been earning rave reviews for the work he is doing in the promotion.
Jericho is also part of the Inner Circle and was one of the big names to join AEW when the promotion started.
However, Le Champion isn’t just known for his in-ring work. Jericho has been doing a lot of commentary work too, and that has been top-notch.
This was part of the discussion on the Busted Open podcast as Mark Henry and Ryan McKinnell showered praise on Y2J:
“Watching Jericho man, on commentary. I have to say Jericho might be the most entertaining guy on commentary on all platforms”, started Henry.
McKinnell then went on to say:
“Well, he doesn’t give a s***, Mark. He has utter confidence in everything he says, and if he f**** up, which I am sure happens, that’s the thing, you don’t hear it.
“He knows how to transition out of it and just keep things rolling in a way very few, I don’t care if you have been doing it for 30, 40, 50 years, Jericho is on another level at times.”
Jericho vs Tyson?
The former champion has taken a back seat from the title runs and was recently involved in an incredible Stadium Stampede match.
Mike Tyson also interrupted a celebration of sorts of the Inner Circle a few weeks back, and Jericho hasn’t turned down a chance of clashing against the boxing legend.
Jericho has been one of the bright spots on AEW, and he still has a lot to give. Le Champion might not be holding a belt at the moment. However, he is still doing a lot of excellent work, even if he is behind the desk.
The former WWE star also decided to take out Orange Cassidy with a bag of oranges on last week’s show. That also caught the attention of the podcast and they loved the angles being done by AEW currently.
