AEW star Hikaru Shida opens up about the injury after Serena Deeb’s attack
Hikaru Shida finally got her 50th win in AEW, but that didn’t turn out to be so fruitful for her as Serena Deeb attacked her. So though she booked her spot at the TBS Title Quarterfinals, it is still uncertain that whether she will be able to clear it or not.
After the win, Shida took to her Twitter and mentioned that she finally got her 50th win. She will keep going for the TBS title no matter what happens.
She mentioned her knee being broken, indicating that Deeb’s attack might have done some severe damage to her knee.
“I did it finally… Keep going to TBS tittle even if my knee is broken.”
AEW star Hikaru Shida faced off against Serena Deeb in the first round of the TBS Championship. She turned up with her kendo stick and the smashed trophy.
Deeb was in control of the match and dominated her with utter motivation and anger, but Shida somehow got the victory by reversing the rolling pin of Deeb. It was also Shida’s 50th victory, and she also qualified for the TBS Women’s Championship title quarterfinals.
Her victory lap didn’t last long as she was viciously attacked by Deeb from the back and then again with the chair in the knee, which could have injured the Japanese star.
Shida is about to face Nyla Rose in the quarterfinals, but only time will tell whether she can compete.
