Hikaru Shida was left badly bruised after Abadon attempted to take another bite out of her neck
This week’s AEW Dynamite saw Abadon square off against Hikaru Shida in night one of the New Year’s Smash special.
Abadon has become Hikaru Shida’s primary rival in the past few months ever since she joined AEW. The AEW Women’s World Champion had to be at her best to fend off Abadon on this week’s Dynamite.
Shida was earlier bitten by a ‘zombie’ Abadon a few couple of weeks back which left a mark at her neck. She turned up to fight Abadon again this Wednesday, but things got even gorier.
The fight got off to a riveting start as Shida hit Abadon with a cane on her head. However, the Undead Girl sat up in an almost Undertaker-esque fashion.
Later on, Abadon took the Japanese under the ring and emerged out of it alone, with blood dripping out her mouth.

That moment certainly implied that Abadon had sunk her teeth into Shida’s flesh yet again, and the bite was again on her neck. You can see the incident in the video below.
You could tell, kayfabe or not, that the injury will make or a scary viewing after the fight. And that’s exactly what happened.
Shida shared photos of the bite marks of Abadon on her neck, as fans were left horrified.
The teeth marks are clearly visible on the right side of her neck. With all that has gone on with Abadon since she joined the promotion, we can’t put it past AEW to turn Shida into a zombie too, no matter how much it would annoy the fans.
