Former WWE Superstar Isiah “Swerve” Scott makes his debut appearance at AEW Revolution
Former WWE Superstar officially signed with All Elite Wrestling at AEW Revolution. One of the primary reasons for looking forward to the Revolution pay-per-view was to see all the matches, and these events are the occasions where the company introduces their subsequent major signing.
This time AEW has signed another former WWE Superstar. This signing was not so surprising as many superstars were let go by the company due to budget cuts.
During the Revolution, it was revealed that Shane “Swerve” Strickland, who was also formerly known with WWE as Isiah “Swerve” Scott, was part of the Hit Row faction on WWE NXT and SmackDown has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling.
Last night, he officially appeared and was welcomed to the AEW in front of the fans.
WWE Veteran and recently released star William Regal also made his debut with AEW
AEW has again taken another legend from the world of WWE. Its latest Pay Per View Revolution Saw William Regal make his debut as an All Elite. During the match between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson, and it turned out to be an absolute classic.
Both the superstars delivered some lethal moves and attacked each other, resulting in referees and security personnel coming out and trying to stop the brawl, but they couldn’t do anything.
Out came the former two-time Intercontinental Champion William Regal, who looked quite frustrated at the two superstars. Finally, Regal entered the ring, slapped both the wrestlers, and made them shake hands.
Regal was released from WWE on January 5 as a part of the significant overhaul of WWE NXT, which ended his 21-year association with the promotion.
