Jon Moxley is an American professional wrestler who is currently signed to AEW. His original name is Jonathan David Good.
Jon Moxley previously wrestled in WWE under the ring name Dean Ambrose and he was part of the famous trio in WWE known as The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
Before his stint in WWE, the Lunatic Fringe wrestled under the ring name Jon Moxley on the independent circuit. After his tenure came to an end, he once again brought back the Jon Moxley name and became the AEW World Champion on one occasion.
In WWE, Moxley was a 3-time Intercontinental champion and he won the WWE Championship and the United States championship on one occasion each. He also won the RAW Tag Team Championship couple of times with Seth Rollins and became Mr. Money in the Bank in 2016.
He is also a two-time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion during his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
What is Jon Moxley doing now?
Jon Moxley is currently a part of the popular faction known as the Blackpool Combat Club. The faction consists of former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan, who wrestles in AEW under his original name – Bryan Danielson, and the high-flying Wheeler Yuta. The stable is managed by pro-wrestling veteran William Regal.
Bryan Danielson wanted to form a tag team with Jon Moxley a couple of months ago but the former said he would do so only if the”American Dragon” wrestles him in a match.
The two immensely decorated superstars faced each other at AEW Revolution in March. Moxley won the match but the two men continued brawling even after the bout had ended. William Regal charged out to the ring, slapped both men, and made them shake hands.
The team of Moxley and Bryan was named Blackpool Combat Club and William Regal became their manager. Later on, Wheeler Yuta was recruited into the group after impressive outings against Bryan and Moxley.
