Renee Paquette reacts to husband Jon Moxley making his return after three months
AEW recently announced on Twitter that Jon Moxley will be appearing for the first time in nearly 3 months and is making his long-awaited return.
As we all know, Moxley was out of in-ring action as he entered alcohol rehab a few months back. Renee Paquette reacted to her husband’s return announcement.
Moxley will be looking to make a comeback with a bang after his recovery, and it will be interesting to see if he will be shifting his focus towards AEW Championship.
Moxley entered the alcohol treatment program, and this news was shared by AEW President Tony Khan, who took to Twitter and said that it was from Moxley’s permission that he was sharing this news, and that all the AEW family was standing behind him and his wife, Renee.
“Jon Moxley has allowed me to share with you that he is entering an inpatient alcohol treatment program. Jon is a beloved member of the AEW family. We all stand with him and Renee, and all of his family and friends, as he shifts his focus to recovery.”
Paquette also mentioned on Twitter that it was a proud moment for her that he would be getting help and how he is prioritizing his health.
“Thanks for this outpouring of support. Jon is every bit of the badass we all know him to be. I couldn’t be more proud of him for getting to proper help he needs, and being given the space to put his health first. Couldn’t possibly love this man more”
He left WWE in 2019 and signed for AEW as Jon Moxley, and even won the AEW World Championship at Revolution by beating Chris Jericho. He, alongside Renee, welcomed their first child, who was born in June of 2021.
