Jorge Masvidal brings back historic flying knee KO on AEW Rampage
UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal made yet another appearance on AEW Rampage. Gamebred was ringside for Men of the Year’s match against the Inner Circle. The BMF champion managed to land his second flying knee on Chris Jericho during the event.
Afterwards, Masvidal made sure to react to his infamous flying knee which he used to knockout Ben Askren in five seconds. He said:
“Got em #supernecessary”
Masvidal was certainly in a mood to troll. With this Jericho has had two flying knees by Gamebred. His attack on Jericho helped Scorpio Sky who was about to tap out get victory over the Inner Circle. Men of the Year would have certainly lost the match is it wasn’t for the UFC man.
Who will Jorge Masvidal fight next in the UFC?
Masvidal is set to fight Leon Edwards at the UFC 269 in December this year. The bout has been confirmed and the contract has been sent to both fighters. This promises to be a great matchup has both fighters have real bad blood for each other for years now.
The two will finally get to face each other and take out their rage physically. The bout is very important for Masvidal as he has lost last two of his matches. Gamebred faced Kamaru Usman twice over the past year and was not able to get victorious.
On the other hand, Edwards is coming off a victory over UFC veteran Nate Diaz. He will look to continue his winning run by getting better of Masvidal. If he manages to do so, he will certainly line himself up for a Welterweight championship match.
