Kenny Omega has been showing off some mutton chops and reminds many of the old Triple H

Another day, another discussion about AEW and WWE trying to copy each other. This time, AEW Champion Kenny Omega is in the cross hairs.

The top AEW star has been sporting a new kind of facial hair and reminds many of Triple H’s early days.

Kenny Omega is the current AEW champion (AEW)

H was known for his mutton chops and moustache during his early years in the company. Triple H now carries a clean shaven head but many fans pointed out how Omega looked similar to The Game.

Another fan brought this up but suggested that Omega could have modelled his look around the great Harley Race.

Omega, for his part, replied to this comment and confirmed that was the right answer. He also claimed that he didn’t know about H’s look during that time and had completely forgotten about it.

“Ding ding ding! Tbh, HHH never crossed my mind. Totally forgot about that phase in his career.”

AEW vs WWE to continue for a long time

Omega might not have modelled his look on H but it would have been crazy for him to accept this change too.

The AEW star has been incredible since moving to the promotion and he probably is having the best time of his wrestling career.

No one seems to be able to get close to him, and AEW for that matter. Dynamite beat WWE NXT easily in the ratings war.

WWE NXT was moved to Tuesdays after this but they are still struggling for the numbers. AEW Dynamite is also doing fine but we are not seeing the high numbers as it was during the AEW vs WWE Wednesday night wars.

The wrestlers from the two promotions continue to have a rivalry too with some of them taking shots at other.

That won’t die down either and it will be interesting to see what the next shot will look like.
