Mike Chioda made an appearance for AEW this week after he was released by WWE

The 54-year-old has called some of the biggest WWE matches during this modern era, and he is a huge signing for AEW.

Kevin Nash claimed Chioda was the “cherry on top” when it came to matches. Bully Ray, another former WWE star along with Nash, also agreed with this sentiment:

Many WWE stars were upset and wished Chioda well after he left the promotion. However, it will be interesting to see if he is involved in some storylines too.

AEW referee Aubrey Edwards has been included in some storylines as the promotion has blurred the lines between officiating and wrestlers.
