Lance Archer hurt his head during his recent match against Eddie Kingston
The AEW World title eliminator match between Lance Archer and Eddie Kingston turned south after Archer landed on his head during a moonsault. The superstar went for a moonsault from top of the turnbuckle and unfortunately landed on his head. The referee checked on him and Archer rolled outside of the ring before the doctor checked on him.
It was thought that the match would be called off but it wasn’t the case. Archer went back into the ring and ended up loosing the match to Kingston. After the match Archer was able to walk to the backstage by himself.
Archer gave update on his condition after the match. Much to the liking of everyone, the AEW star is now fine. He even talked about the general risk of being in the wrestling business. Take a look at what he had to say:
“I’ll live! Thank ya Lord!”
“Listen. We choose to do this and take our health n lives in our hands every night. I’ve done that move hundreds of times over my career. Just under rotated. Coulda been MUCH worse. Thank you to ALL at @AEW for taking AMAZING care of me and protecting me. I’ll BE BACK!”
Archer explained what went wrong in his move and is aware of the fact that it could have been much worse. He talked about how he has done this move hundreds of times in his career as well.
Archer also thanked the AEW for taking care of him and also protecting him. It is great to see that Archer is in good shape after what could’ve had a very bad outcome. The fans would hope to see him back in action as soon as possible.
