The Young Bucks and FTR could meet soon in what will be a dream clash
FTR joining AEW was expected after the Revival, as they were known in WWE, were released from their contracts.
Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson are now known as Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood, and they made a huge impact after coming on AEW.
FTR are considered as one of the best tag teams in the world, and they are yet to face the Young Bucks in a proper clash.
While Ryan McKinnell spoke about them on the Busted Open podcast, and claimed this was a fantasy booking with the dream match finally taking place.
However, Mark Henry brought up a unique plan to book this tag clash:
“There is, there is. I see it building with all of the stuff that they did and it not working, the only thing that I can see them doing is a Last Man Standing tag match.
“You have seen them do everything. They have done it all. Now lets see if they can be resilient. When was the last time you saw a Last Man Standing tag match?”
McKinnell and Henry both said it was tough to remember when such a match took place last.
“It hasn’t happened in a long-long while, if at all”, Henry added.
Henry highlighted that this was a great opportunity for this to take place between the two teams.
“Both guys have to be down and at least one member of the tag team has to be standing.”
McKinnell, however, added that the teams haven’t fought head to head. He believed a regular wrestling match would take place first before anything else. He did claim that these two were the best tag teams in the world.
AEW does have a stacked wrestling division with Kenny Omega and Adam Page the current champions. The promotion has put up some stellar matches in recent weeks, and FTR vs The Bucks should be another home-run.
FTR was underutilized in WWE, and they weren’t really given a real shot. The Bucks, for their part, have been excellent in other promotions and a rivalry with FTR could set the ring on fire.
AEW hasn’t missed many spots regarding their booking, and it will be interesting to see if a Last Man Standing tag match is in the works for them.
