NWA World Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona reacts to the upcoming AEW Dynamite match between Danhausen and Tony Nese
NWA World Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona jokingly compared the upcoming AEW Dynamite match between Danhausen and Tony Nese to Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior match.
It will be the first match of Mr Very Nice and Very Evil since making his debut on January 26, Dynamite Beach Break. On the other hand, Nese had his last game on May 3 against Leon Ruffin in a Dark.
Former WWE star challenged Danhausen after having issues with his manager, Smart Mark Sterling. Tony Khan posted the promotional poster on Twitter.
Cardona took to Twitter and reacted to the poster shared by Khan. He compared the bout to the WrestleMania VI Champion vs Champion match.
I’m torn. This is like Hogan vs. Warrior for me.
Danhausen is currently on a segment with young star HOOK, who he has tried to ‘curse’ over the past few months.
AEW star Danhausen gets squashed by Tony Nese in AEW In-ring debut
Tony Khan took to Twitter and announced the AEW debut for Danhausen against Tony Nese on AEW Dynamite. But things didn’t go so well for the “Very Nice, Very Evil” star.
Tony Nese won the victory over Danhausen in less than a minute. He did a running knee in the corner on Danhausen. He continued the attack on Danhausen as Mark Sterling ranted on the microphone when suddenly Hook’s music hit as he came down and aligned Danhausen. They shook hands in the middle, which signifies the beginning of an alliance.
