We got a lot of work to do still. But I more than appreciate the warm welcome back. The person with the sign that had the same silhouette that’s on the front of my hoodie…. thank you. Touched my soul. And with sad family times hopefully behind me….let’s grind. #ForwardMarch

Many fans were also thrilled with his debut and seemed to enjoy the former NXT Champion’s match. It will be interesting to see how he does in this company.

He was released from the WWE on November 4, and various stars like Karrion Kross, Ember Moon, Eva Marie, Nia Jax etc. He officially became a free agent on February 3 when his non compete clause expired.

Lee was successful with WWE as he became the first-ever simultaneous NXT North American and World Champion on WWE. He was even called to get the main roster in August 2020 and even victory over Randy Orton in September’s first-ever pay-per-view at the Payback.

He was pulled out of matches due to contracting COVID-19 followed by heart inflammation, and after a long hiatus, he finally came back in an open challenge against then WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, which he lost.
