Mick Foley sends message to Kris Statlander after surgery
Pro-Wrestling legend Mick Foley has sent a message to AEW superstar Kris Statlander, after she underwent surgery on her ACL injury.
Statlander suffered a high-grade tear in her Anterior Cruciate Ligament last month during a match. The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien had teamed up with AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida to take on the team of Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford.
During a spot, Statlander attempted a dive outside the ring on Kip Sabian. But, unfortunately for her, that resulted in a serious injury, which required surgery.
Statlander undergoes surgery
Earlier this week, the AEW superstar had shared the news that she would be going under the knife to treat her ACL injury. And on Tuesday, she took to social media to confirm that the she had undergone the surgery successfully.
Statlander posted an image of herself posing with two thumbs up after the surgery was completed. Responding to her post, wrestling legend Mick Foley wished her a speedy recovery.
Here’s wishing my fellow Long Islander @callmekrisstat a full and speedy recovery! I know she will be back better than ever. @AEWonTNT https://t.co/MZ9qSwwjtV

As of writing, there is no official word on how long Statlander will be sidelined and when she may make an in-ring return. However, AEW might look to use her in a non-wrestling capacity till then, something that they have done with Britt Baker of late.
The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien’s last high-profile singles bout came at AEW Double or Nothing, when she defeated Penelope Ford.
We wish Statlander a full and speedy recovery!
