MJF appears at AEW Double or Nothing

Published by

There were strong rumors of MJF not showing up at AEW Double or Nothing after missing a meet-and-greet event scheduled for the day before the pay-per-view. Fortunately for the fans, the former leader of The Pinnacle appeared on AEW’s latest pay-per-view for a highly-anticipated match against Wardlow.

MJF

MJF was quite open about ex-WWE Superstars who are incapable of matching his screen presence, making a lot of money. There were rumors that the heel was unhappy with his AEW contract.

Fightful has revealed that MJF’s current contract with Tony Khan’s company expires on January 1, 2024. MJF originally signed for AEW in 2019 and had an extension that raised his salary. MJF and Tony Khan had been involved in a heated conversation last month.

Anyway, MJF did not disappoint the fans as they came to watch him get thrashed at the hands of Wardlow at AEW Double or Nothing. Mr. Mayhem’s life in AEW had been made miserable by MJF and finally, their rivalry came to a head at the pay-per-view held in the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.
