Mark Henry and Tommy Dreamer claim MJF is the best heel in wrestling after recent antics

MJF blasted the son of Brodie Lee after Dynamite loss this week

MJF was with the Inner Circle when they took on the Dark Order in a six-man tag team match on last week’s AEW Dynamite.

The 30th December episode, called “Brodie Lee Celebration of Life”, was a special AEW episode to honour the life of Brodie Lee. Lee, whose real name was Jon Huber, passed away on 26th December.

Shortly afterwards, it was announced that his son, Brodie Lee Jr., had signed a professional contract with AEW. The 8-year-old, called -1 in the promotion, played a part in the six-man tag team match put together as an ode to his father.

He attacked MJF with a kendo stick, which ensured that the heels lost. Shortly after the match, MJF, albeit jokingly, had a go at Brodie Lee Jr. on Twitter.

Mark Henry thinks MJF is the best heel around due to his exchange with Brodie Lee Jr.

On this week’s episode of the Busted Open Podcast, Tommy Dreamer and Mark Henry shared their views on the AEW special, amongst other things.

Henry spoke about MJF being one of the best heels in the game because of his exchange with the son of Brodie Lee.

“Seeing young Brodie representing his father well; MJF continues to the best heel in pro wrestling right now.”

Henry here acknowledges how MJF provided authenticity to the feud. While he did not address the tweet directly, he certainly implied the wrestler’s attempts to further enhance Brodie Lee Jr.’s efforts in the right.

While a very small section of wrestling fans misunderstood MJF’s tweet, it is certainly meant to be in good taste. It is a well-meaning attempt at showing that the fight wasn’t all for show and the Inner Circle actually did rue their defeat.
