AEW Superstar MJF opens up about going to WWE on one condition
Maxwell Jacob Friedman recently did a promo where he opened up about going to WWE when his contract expires in 2024 but on one condition.
He mentioned that in January 2024, he will be a free agent and said that if Vince McMahon offers him more money than Tony Khan, he will definitely go to WWE.
“It’s an interesting question. I don’t know if you guys are aware of this but on January 1st of 2024, I’m going to be a free agent. Who here would want to see me in WWE? So, let me explain something to you people. “I did not get into this business to make any of you happy. I got into this business to make as much money as humanly possible, and if Vince Kennedy McMahon is willing to shell out more money than Tony Khan, then yes, I would go to WWE.” (Ringside News Instagram)
It will be interesting to see how much McMahon will be offering him if he does, and we will be able to see MJF in WWE.
AEW Superstar MJF was recently interviewed by The Ariel Helwani Show, where he admitted that he watches WWE and said that he thinks their product is great and loves what they are doing.
“See I think WWE is doing great,” MJF said. “I love everything WWE is doing. I just think we [AEW] is fresh, and we have fresh faces that people haven’t seen before. I think everything right now that Bruce Prichard and Vince are putting out there is absolutely incredible. I love it. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
“I love NXT 2.0, I love RAW, I love SmackDown. I love what Roman’s doing. Roman’s putting out some great. Paul Heyman, a fellow member of the tribe, absolutely killed it. Sorry about what’s going on with Brock. You deserve better than that. I think that they’re putting out a great product.”
MJF is currently in a heated feud with Wardlow after the latter cost MJF his match against CM Punk. Both the wrestlers have been on a banter on social media. It will be interesting to see what happens to the Wardlow-MJF feud.
