Sammy Guevara congratulated by fellow AEW star MJF for Music video Director gig
Maxwell Jacob Friedman, or MJF, played the nice guy for a change as he congratulated AEW co-star Sammy Guevara on Twitter for his new gig as a music director.
Guevara seems to be over his online feud with T-Bar last week as the 27-year-old surprised fans by announcing that he had landed a project as the director of a music video.
The name, artist, or any related details of the video is not made public yet. But it seems that the Cuban-American wrestler wants to keep it under the wraps for now.
Sammy Guevara is actually a pretty successful YouTuber too. He posts his vlogs as well as videos on his YouTube account, which has around 137k subscribers. It could be possible that someone liked his work on the website and hired him for a gig.
MJF was on hand to acknowledge his friend’s new achievement as he replied to the tweet. Just like his abbreviated name, he kept his message short, but to the point.
It remains to be seen in what capacity Guevara will work on the video. Hopefully, it doesn’t mean some time off for him from AEW.
He signed for the promotion back in February 2019, and has since climbed the ladder to be one of the most popular names on the roster. He is a part of The Inner Circle, which is created and led by former WWE superstar Chris Jericho.
His most recent notable storyline was with Matt Hardy. The two ended their feud at Full Gear pay-per-view on November 7th, 2020, where Hardy defeated Guevara again.
