Ricky Stark talks about the CM Punk effect in AEW
AEW star Ricky Starks opens up about how CM Punk has created quite a bit of impact backstage on other rising wrestlers in AEW.
According to Throwing Down with Renee & Meisha (h/t Wrestling Inc.) Ricky Starks, who is currently a part of Team tax in AEW, has told about how CM Punk has been able to help others backstage and told that he is very easy to approach backstage and also pointed that he has been really a morale boost for everyone.
“It’s been great. I know that he is a very hard worker, obviously,” Starks said. “Backstage, he’s very mindful of everyone and their matches, and making sure he talks to them and critiques them afterward, and he’s very approachable too. So I think having Punk back there is a big morale boost.”

AEW superstar CM Punk is starting a rivalry with Team Taz now, which comprises Ricky Starks.
Ricky Starks also mentioned in the interview about the rivalry that has been building with Punk. He noted that since Punk called him out, it has given him a bit of spotlight there. Starks told that Punk should keep his name in his mouth, he welcomes it.
“I know that Hobbs is gonna handle some stuff for me in terms of Punk, but the guy, he called me out. I appreciate the spotlight there, but I’m kind of tied up with Brian Cage first.
“I have to get through that obstacle before I move on to Punk and see what he’s about. But hey, if it keeps drawing me attention, I say, Punk, keep my name in your mouth. Keep it going. I welcome it.
