AEW wrestler Santana took to Twitter to shower praise towards Eddie Guerrero. WWE star Guerrero loved this business and showed that every time he walked through the curtains if he was cheered or booed he loved this business.

Eddie worked for ECW, WCW, and WWE and left his mark in every company. He won eight different Championships fifteen different times in WWE.
However, his greatest moment came when he won the WWE Championship at No Way Out in 2004.
Guerrero died in his Marriott City Center hotel room in 2005. He was found lying on the bathroom floor unconscious with a toothbrush in his mouth.
Guerrero left an impact and legacy on the professional wrestling industry as one of the most beloved performers of his generation and an inspiration to many future professional wrestlers.
The WWE, AAA, Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Hardcore posthumously inducted Guerrero into their halls of fame.
Santana turned down WWE in late 2019
When Santana & Ortiz became free agents last year, they had offers from WWE, AEW, ROH, and could have re-signed with Impact Wrestling. AEW won out, but they were very close to signing with WWE at the time.
The duo spoke with reporter Chris Van Vliet. Among many other things, they spoke about their decision to sign with AEW instead of WWE.
Santana said WWE offered them to write their own ticket to NXT and toward the main roster. Ortiz said they weighed being small fish in an ocean as part of something already established or becoming part of something new.
They were confident in their abilities to succeed in WWE but making history with AEW was intriguing.
Ortiz also said that they were in a dilemma of choosing between wanting to be a part of something new and make history with AEW or to be part of history or do we want to fade to black with WWE.
They decided to stick with AEW as he said that they would always be part of the first-ever main event of AEW.
