Tay Conti is a huge fan of MMA and was broken after seeing Anderson Silva lose to Uriah Hall

AEW star Tay Conti was one of several people left broken after Anderson Silva was defeated by Uriah Hall at UFC Fight Night 181.

The Spider, as Silva is called, is one of the greatest MMA athletes of all time. However, all good things must come to an end and the 45-year-old has been on the end of some big losses.

Age seems to be catching up to Silva but the Spider isn’t keen on stopping. He didn’t confirm this was his last UFC fight but all signs pointed towards that. Dana White also didn’t want Silva to continue fighting and the Spider was taken to the fourth round before Hall knocked him out.

Silva was left a little bloodied after the fight but both stars had immense respect for each other. Hall was even heard saying he was sorry while Silva embraced him in a hug and told him to go for the title.

This moment seemed to catch everyone off guard and Conti posted an emotional message on her Twitter account:

“My heart I love these moments more than anything in my life. So special thank you @SpiderAnderson you’re a legend! Congratulations @UriahHallMMA, such an amazing athlete.”

What next for Silva?

Conti has always supported the Brazilian stars in the UFC and had spoken about Jose Aldo a while back too.

These are interesting times for Silva who will go down as a legend of the sport for sure. While he believes he can still do a job, White was hopeful Silva’s family could talk him into retirement.

Silva holds several UFC records since his days as the champion. However, those days are long gone and it is to be seen if he returns to the Octagon for another fight in the UFC or in another promotion.
