Brian Cage was the winner of the Casino Ladder match at AEW Double or Nothing
Brian Cage was the surprise entrant in the Casino Ladder match at AEW Double or Nothing.
The former Impact Wrestling champion came out and destroyed his rivals as he picked up the casino chip lifted high above.
Cage also shared a new partnership on AEW as he was accompanied to the ring by Taz. The former WWE star might have spent more time as a commentator in recent years, but he is an excellent technical wrestler and has trained many others.
Cage shared a picture of himself and Taz suggesting that he would be the next AEW Champion.
However, Taz also had some ominous words for the AEW roster and simply tweeted:
“Let the Beatings Begin”

The next AEW Champion?
Cage’s next target would be Jon Moxley. The former WWE Champion came out on top in his great battle against Brodie Lee at Double or Nothing.
Moxley has held onto the title since winning it from Chris Jericho and has been involved in some brutal clashes.
The one against Lee was nothing less as the Exalted One was choked out and the match had to be stopped.
Moxley also defeated Jake Hager in a tough match before facing Lee, and it will be interesting to see what Cage brings into AEW.
He does have championship calibre and teaming with Taz would be a smart move. Taz is one of the most experienced members on AEW, and he could turn Cage vs Moxley into an incredible rivalry.
Moxley and Cage should speak on the next AEW show, and that could lead to some fireworks. Lee also tipped his hat off to Moxley after the clash, but no one should count out the Exalted One from a future title fight.
