AEW star Jon Moxley was speaking about his new movie when the topic of Chuck Liddell came out

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley sounded excited ahead of the launch of his new movie.

He was speaking with Inside The Ropes as he highlighted how great it was to work on the sets of Cagefighter: Worlds Collide.

Jon Moxley defended his AEW crown against Jake Hager recently (AEW)

The movie is all about wrestling and MMA, and Moxley even suggested that he would love being a stuntman rather than doing the acting.

However, the movie has another big name attached and that is Chuck Liddell. The former UFC star hasn’t done much since retiring from the sport but will play a huge role in this clash.

Moxley was asked about working with the former UFC star:

“Chuck Liddell is the coolest human alive. I am such a huge fan.”

Moxley also claimed that it isn’t easy for people to talk about fighting all the time, but Liddell was a laid back person and was willing to speak about his UFC days.

However, Moxley also put up a warning about Liddell:

“The coolest dudes in the world are the most chill are the men who can kill you with their bare hands.”

Tapes got Moxley interested in MMA

The AEW Champion added that Liddell was a great person to have a beer with. The champ was also asked if he was a big fan of MMA, and he had an interesting revelation for that.

Moxley claimed that he would watch tapes from video rental stores on wrestling and the MMA ones were next to these.

Often he would pick these up, and that is how he got a look into the world of MMA. Moxley was one of the top stars in WWE before moving to AEW.

He picked up the gold just a few weeks after joining the promotion. And even defended his crown against Jake Hager recently.
