The Hardy Boys make their in-ring debut at AEW against one of the top tag-team.
This week’s AEW Dynamite saw the first match for The Hardy Boys in tag team action since 2019. The legendary tag team Private Party in their maiden bout together in the promotion.
Jeff Hardy was also making his in-ring AEW debut a week after he made his first appearance at the promotion.
The match saw the Hardys play their greatest hits as the crowd went wild for their return. In the end, The Charismatic Enigma delivered a Twist of Fate in unison with his Brother and hit a Swanton Bomb to Kassidy for the win.
Their last outing together came in 2019 when they were the WWE superstars who captured the SmackDown Tag team titles from The Usos. Unfortunately, the reign would last only for 21 days as Jeff Hardy suffered a knee injury, and they were forced to vacate their titles.
The Hardy Boys were confronted by AFO at the end of the match at AEW
The stable of Matt and Jeff Hardy was set to be confronted by the other members of the AFO as Andrade El Idolo’s music hit. However, the brothers were falling short at the number’s game and were looking set to fall prey as Sting, and Darby Allin made their way to the ring to even the odds.
They ensured that the AFOs didn’t get dominated on the Hardys as Sting and Allin kicked them out of the ring.
