Talented Canadian professional wrestler Kyle O’Reilly revealed during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite that he has suffered an injury.
AEW President Tony Khan confirmed the injury to be a legitimate one and clarified that it is not a part of a storyline. Khan could not put out any potential date for O’Reilly’s comeback. He noted the injury to the 35-year-old is a huge setback for the company. On the latest episode of AEW Unrestricted, Khan said:
“Kyle O’Reilly had been on fire. That’s a real-life, legitimate injury and Kyle O’Reilly is out, not sure how long, but, you know, it’s a big loss and we were not expecting that. He had just been on fire for the company lately, so it’s a big deal to lose Kyle O’Reilly.”
The list of injured wrestlers on the AEW roster includes the likes of CM Punk, Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, Red Velvet, Buddy Matthews, The Bunny, Kenny Omega, Anthony Bowens, Darius Martin, and a few more.
