“Being denied by WWE was a unique experience” – Wardlow grateful for AEW

AEW Superstar Wardlow goes back memory lane as he talks about his rejection by WWE

Wardlow recently spoke to Insight with Chris Van Vliet’s podcast, where he revealed the impact WWE‘s rejection had on his career and how much grateful he is to AEW.

He also mentioned, “thanking God every day that AEW came about.”

“I thank God every day that AEW came about. But yeah, being denied (by WWE) was a unique experience and a unique feeling, but it put me where I needed to be, so I’m happy for it”. 

Wardlow reveals details about his WWE tryout

Mr Mayhem embarked on his pro-wrestling career in 2014, and how he spent most of his time on the independent circuit before AEW came in, which changed his career trajectory.

He recently revealed on the podcast about the WWE Tryout and how the rejection made him almost quit. Wardlow also said that he is grateful after the emergence of All Elite Wrestling.

“I aced that tryout [WWE]. I mean, with flying colours, and they didn’t want me. So for the first time in my life, I went, Oh, well, maybe this isn’t gonna happen,” Wardlow said… “You know, fortunately, I stuck with it, and I was determined to make it happen one way or another, and I thank god every day that AEW came about.”

Recent reports have even revealed that people of WWE are heavily interested in signing Mr Mayhem now once his AEW contract expires. Mr Mayhem has been really dominant in the current time and has squashed every opponent who came in his sight.
