It was an emotional night on AEW Dynamite as they paid tribute to the late Brodie Lee. The former TNT champion passed away due to a lung issue, which wasn’t Covid-19 related, and shocked the entire world of wrestling.

Lee was only 41 and also spent time with WWE where he was called Luke Harper. He had a major role to play in the Wyatt Family and stars from all promotions paid tribute to him with some incredible stories.

WWE stars did their bit on Raw with Xavier Woods posting several videos of Lee too. Big E, Cesaro and Sami Zayn have shared several hilarious moments with Lee while AEW had their own way to celebrate The Exalted One’s life.

Their entire show was done to celebrate Lee’s life and the son of the wrestler, Brodie Lee Jr, also helped set up the matches.

The youngster had a couple of great moments as he attacked MJF with a kendo stick and then was presented the TNT title as AEW retired that design.

Lee Jr also spent a lot of time backstage at Dynamite. He had fun with several members of the Dark Order, Lee’s faction in AEW, and was hitting them with the kendo stick.

John Silver, one of the Dark Order members, posted a video of -1 hitting them with the stick, and it was another beautiful moment from the show.

The wrestling world didn’t just lose a great performer but a great human being earlier this week. Lee might be gone but his memory lives on and will continue to thanks to his friends and -1.
