FTR made their AEW debut on last week’s Dynamite
Dax Harwood took to Twitter and shared an incredible clip of FTR doing several tag moves from the yesteryears.
Harwood and Cash Wheeler debuted on AEW Dynamite this week. Following the night’s opening match, the Young Bucks were attacked by the Butcher and the Blade.
Harwood and Wheeler then drove into the stadium and acted as if they were going to attack the Bucks before then beating down the Butcher and the Blade.
The Young Bucks then extended a handshake offer to FTR but Harwood and Wheeler turned their backs on them and left.
Shortly after their segment last night, Harwood & Wheeler posted to Twitter and revealed what “FTR” actually stands for “F*ck The Rest.”
The tag-team duo are better known to the WWE Universe as The Revival and were called Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder while working for Vince McMahon.
They joined WWE back in 2014 after becoming big stars on the independent scene and were huge hits on NXT.
The Revival then stepped up to the main roster but seemed to quickly become disillusioned with life with regular jibes on social media.
The pair did enjoy reigns as both SmackDown and Raw Tag-Team Champions to make them the first-ever triple crown champs after previously holding NXT gold.
They followed Matt Hardy and Brodie Lee, formerly Luke Harper, by switching WWE for AEW. That continued on from Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley, aka Dean Ambrose, on turning their backs on McMahon to join the Tony Khan-backed company.
