Taynara Conti is trained in MMA but decided to try something else in the ring

AEW star Taynara Conti shared a video of trying out something different in the wrestling ring.

The Brazilian signed for the promotion after being released by NXT and was regarded as one of the brightest talents in WWE.

However, Conti was cut during the Covid-19 releases but that has been a blessing for AEW. She had teamed with Anna Jay for a while and there is an offer for her to join the Dark Order too.

Conti has teased teaming up with the heel faction and it will be interesting to see what is next for her.

However, she is trying out new moves in the ring and recently shared a clip of her doing stuff on the ropes.

Conti is known for her submission style of wrestling, thanks to her MMA training, but this could be a sign of things to come for her:

“Getting out of my comfort zone (judo/submission style ) today!! Having fun and working to get better with my best friend @annajay___, thanks for always having my back & thank you @AEW”

Enjoying her time on AEW

The 25-year-old might yet have to decide on what she does with the Dark Order. However, she is extremely happy being on AEW.

She claimed that working for the promotion was her dream job and was blessed to have it:

Conti used to be an artistic gymnast in her native before moving MMA. She holds a black belt in Judo and a blue belt in BJJ as well.

The 25-year-old also follows the MMA promotions a lot and has spoken about how great UFC star Jose Aldo is.

Conti was set to be a big name in WWE but their loss has been AEW’s gain. She hasn’t featured in too many singles matches but that should change in the future.
