Inner Circle star Santana wants to use wrestling as an escape during these tough times all around the world.
The coronavirus pandemic has gripped every country in the world with few sports events on.
However, wrestling has been going on for a while with WWE and AEW holding events, albeit in empty arenas.
WWE has shifted all its events to the Performance Center while AEW is also making similar arrangements.
However, that won’t stop this week’s AEW Dynamite from taking place and Santana posted a positive message ahead of the fight.
The Inner Circle member posted a picture of him with partner Ortiz and claimed that their wrestling could provide an escape to some of the fans too.
The Inner Circle is one of the biggest stables in AEW at the moment, and they will have a huge fight at Blood & Guts too.
Santana is a veteran in the ring, and it is great that even he acknowledges the tough times that everyone is going through.
AEW was supposed to host events in several locations, however, that has changed. The company released information that all events across the world are to be shifted.
Fans can refund their tickets, but they also have an option to keep them for future AEW events.
It is still risky business to conduct shows during such tough times, but sports fans need some fix.
WWE has recently confirmed that their big WrestleMania event will be without any fans, and it will be interesting to see how long both promotions keep putting up shows without any crowd.
The atmosphere just doesn’t feel the same in such events, but the performers will always put up a great show.
AEW has been getting the job done against WWE NXT in recent weeks, and it will be interesting to see who wins the Wednesday Night Wars this week.
