CM Punk is scheduled to face AEW World Champion Hangman Page for the title in the main event of the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, which takes place Saturday, May 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This week on AEW Dynamite, Punk played heel as he faced hometown wrestler John Silver. Punk was booed by the Long Island crowd during the match. Silver had his moments but the veteran won the match in the end after delivering a Buckshot Lariat out of nowhere.
The post-show segment began with Punk getting down on his knees and asking HOOK to shake his hands. HOOK obliged but then he went on to attack the former WWE Superstar. This delighted the fans at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York.
