Toni Storm is a former WWE superstar who had been the NXT UK Women’s champion and won the 2018 Mae Young Classic beating Io Shirai in the finals.
Toni Storm was granted release by WWE towards the end of 2021 and since then, fans speculated about her next in-ring outing. There were rumors that she would be joining AEW but nothing concrete came about.
However, Storm shocked the world when she appeared through the curtains as the mystery opponent The Bunny was supposed to face on AEW Dynamite last week. It was a qualification match for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
Storm came out to a huge pop and didn’t have it easy during her match. She showed her full array of moves en route to winning the match and qualifying for the aforementioned tournament.
Soon after the match, AEW’s social media handles announced Storm as “All Elite” and AEW President Tony Khan also mentioned the same via a Tweet. Storm is also supposed to be going active on OnlyFans.
Toni Storm’s achievements
Toni Storm made it to the main roster of WWE and competed against the likes of Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair. However, she didn’t win a title on the main roster.
