Young Bucks take swipe at AEW broadcaster Jim Ross for unfortunate WWE Dynamite botch
AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks took to Twitter to take a jab at Jim Ross for calling the show WWE Dynamite on TNT.
After sharing a video from the Daily’s Place era, Ross unintentionally referred to his old employers in the show. He said that ‘there’s nothing better than ‘WWE Dynamite’.
Young Bucks will defend their AEW Tag Team Championships against Eddie Kington and Penta El Zero Miedo on July 7th.
Ross, meanwhile spoke about the botch in a tweet and admitted the error.
“Yep I apparently made an untimely error tonight at shows end. No excuses. And I’m not quitting. [cowboy hat face emoji],” he tweeted.
He previously got criticism for calling AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega as the WWE Champion. The error is a small blip for the legendary broadcaster who has been on the commentary panel of wrestling promotions for various years now. The reference to WWE depicts the stronghold of the company over the indie scene.
Young Bucks Vs Eddie Kingston And Penta El Zero
In June Kingston, Penta, and PAC teamed up to defeat the Bucks and Brandon Cutler in a six man tag team match. The rivalry has been taken to a new level with the Young Bucks facing the pair in a non-title match.
They will not be far from a title opportunity and will be looking to build an impressive streak with a win on next week’s episode. Earlier, they mocked the tag team saying: (h/t Wrestling Inc)
“Greetings and salutations. Look who it is. It’s the Young Bucks, you know that tag team that all the trolls and haters call overrated. Really guys, that doesn’t make any sense because currently we are the longest reigning AEW Tag Team Champions in company history. We have made this run even more special and different.“
The two are also executive vice-presidents of the company along with Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega.
