WWE Superstar Zelina Vega reacts to debut of husband Aleister Black on AEW Dynamite
Zelina Vega revealed her delight after the debut of a new star in AEW, none other than her husband Tom Budgen. The wrestler formerly known as Aleister Black is now All Elite.
She took to Twitter to show her happiness after his latest release from WWE.
Vega, re-signed with the WWE and made her return on Friday Night SmackDown and the couple will be on rival brands for the first time in their careers.
Malakai Black, as he now will be called appeared in a segment in-ring. Arn Anderson and Cody Rhodes were inside the ring to talk, before the light went outs only to see Black appear out of nowhere. The fans went wild as Black was one of the hottest free agents since his release.
He delivered his signature Black Mass (finisher ) to both Anderson and Rhodes, as fans cheered.
He was released in early June along with the likes of Braun Strowman, Lana and Ruby Riott. The move could be a gamechanger for AEW, as they have acquired one of the biggest wrestlers in the business right now.
How has Malakai Black returned so early to wrestling?
Earlier, it was revealed that Black will have to serve out a 3-month no compete clause. This would stop him from joining any rival promotion, despite his availability.
Now, according to reports, it seems that WWE has come up with a blunder. The updating for the time period was not done which has only kept him out for a month. His return has occurred in 40 days. This will rub salts in their wounds as some officials wanted to bring him back to the company.
With Black starting a new chapter, it will be exciting to see how he performs in AEW with a new environment. He will also look to prove a point to his former employers in WWE.
