Bray Wyatt is expected to sign for AEW
Ex- WWE star Bray Wyatt might end up signing for AEW after the end of his 90 days non-compete clause. WWE recently released Bray Wyatt from his contract which came as a shock to the wrestling world.
It was really disappointing for the fans and the partners as WWE let such a valuable Superstar go from their industry. However, there is a huge plan that Bray might end up in AEW.
According to Ringside News, The current destination for Bray Wyatt is AEW as he is very close to signing for them. Bray is still under a non-compete clause which means that no contact can be offered to him these days because of which AEW might have reportedly shifted their next AEW Full GEAR PPV dates to November 13th.
Windham Rotunda has some good connections with the company and can provide a lot of benefits to AEW. After the return of superstars like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson fans hope to see Wyatt too in All Elite Wrestling.
A prior report from The Observer (h/t cagesideseats) stated that AEW might sign Rotunda after his non-compete contract ends.
Contrary to that report from the Observer, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp didn’t agree to the fact that Bray Wyatt will be joining AEW.
Sean thinks that even though Wyatt’s contract is in a non-compete clause, he would not end up in AEW.
According to Dave Meltzer (h/t Ringside News)
However, AEW is not the only company that eagerly wants to sign Bray Wyatt. Impact Wrestling is also gearing up for Bray Wyatt. However, there is still uncertainty about the interest of Wyatt on Impact.
There is certainly a bunch of rumors going around the market about Rotunda with different reports flying in time after time. We have to wait and see where Wyatt actually ends up when his non-compete clause expires on October 29th.
