AEW star Lance Archer pays tribute to Luke Harper (AKA Brodie Lee) in recent promo for TNT title match at AEW Double or Nothing

Earlier this week, AEW confirmed what many fans already knew would be happening next for the new TNT champion, Miro.

Miro won the belt from Darby Allin last week in what was his first AEW title. After the match, Lance Archer came out for a little stare-down contest with the champ.

Lance Archer did a promo like Luke Harper, AKA Brodie Lee, for his TNT title match against Miro at AEW Double or Nothing.

And it is now confirmed that Archer would be taking on Miro for the TNT belt at AEW Double or Nothing PPV on 30th May, with Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts ringside.

But what caught the eye of the fans during the build-up to this fight was the segment done by Archer where he called out Miro.

‘The Murderhawk Monster’ is seen speaking in a dark room with only one light bulb lit up and ominous music playing in the backgroud.

Lance Archer pays second tribute to Luke Harper, AKA Brodie Lee, on AEW

This is strikingly similar to the promos the late Luke Harper did during his time at WWE. Harper joined AEW after leaving WWE under the name Brodie Lee.

He sadly passed away in December last year after a lung complication. And this is not the first time that Archer is paying tribute to his late friend.

On the 30th December episode of AEW Dynamite, which was dedicated to the life of Jon Huber, AKA Brodie Lee, Archer donned the clothes worn by Harper.

He walked out to the ring for a tag team match against Eddie Kingston, the Butcher, and the Blade resembling Lee’s look.

This is a great little addition made to his segment by Archer and would undoubtedly get plaudits from fans.
