1. Vince McMahon wants to have Stone Cold appearing in WWE more often
According to “a tenured member of the creative team” who spoke to Ringside News, stated that the Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon wants the Texas Rattlesnake to feature more often in WWE.
However, he also said that Austin’s appearance at WrestleMania 38 is a “One time deal. As of now.” Austin will appear on The Kevin Owens Show on Night 1 of WrestleMania. As per reports, this is not going to be just another interview session as things are going to get physical.
2. Marko Stunt’s contract will not be renewed
As per Fightful Select, AEW’s head of talent relations and a stalwart of pro wrestling Christopher Daniels has informed Marko Stunt that his AEW contract will not be renewed. The company’s growing roster and the requirement for “budget cuts” were cited as the reasons.
Stunt has been made aware that the impending plans for Jurrasic Express have been changed. The 25-year-old has been involved in the group since the inception of AEW and has won many championships on the independent circuit.
3. Tony Khan-MJF issues regarding Ariel Helwani’s interview have been resolved
According to Wrestling Observer, the issues involving MJF and AEW President Tony Khan regarding the former’s interview with Ariel Helwani have been settled.
According to Fightful Select, any talent needs permission to do interviews and MJF wasn’t given clearance for the aforementioned interview.
There was a heated exchange between Khan and MJF but things have been resolved as of now which is good news for wrestling fans. MJF is in the middle of a feud with Wardlow and this rivalry has been built over a long time and fans are excited to see them brawl.
4. Why is MJF frustrated?
On Fightful’s Backstage Report podcast, Sean Ross Sapp said MJF’s frustrated because several people who AEW signed after him are now earning “way more” money than he does.
MJF is one of the best wrestlers in AEW and has done exceedingly well in portraying a heel character.
5. WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia
After the 2022 Elimination Chamber PPV which was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, WWE plans on returning to the country once again this year.
As per Andrew Zarian’s source, the event that Saudi Arabia will host is likely to be TLC 2022.
