Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, FR Yugoslavia, He played youth basketball for local clubs, KK Kadet, and KK NS Stars where his Basketball career ignited. He was productive and efficient on the court making him one of the top-performing players in his class. Not much is known about his time in High school so it can be said that he was a star player with stellar statistics. He also took part in the Jordan Brand Classic camp and also got invited to invite for the NBA All-Star Basketball Without Borders Global Camp but couldn’t make it because his U.S VISA got rejected. Pokusevski made his EURO League debut with the Olympiacos. At 17 years old, he was the youngest senior men’s Olympiacos player to ever debut in the EuroLeague.
