The Legend of Zelda’s breath of the wild features many iconic great fairy fountains that can be found in many Zelda games. These fountains are a Majestic place to stock up on fairies as they serve a good purpose in the game.
Very fountains allow you to upgrade every piece of armor that you have under your belt. But you should have the right items to upgrade each piece of armor. You will be able to upgrade your armor to the next level upon reaching each Fairy Fountain. So after you come across the 1st great fairy Katie she will help you upgrade each piece of armor to level 1, followed by the next one, and so on.
All Great Fairy Fountain Locations in Zelda
There are 4 great fairies spread across the world of Legend of Zelda. For each great fairy you come across, you will need to earn a larger amount of rupees to wake up reaching a maximum of 10000 rupees. here are all the locations and where to find them.
Great Fairy Cotera
This is the 1st Great Fairy you will find as she is present at the top of the hill in Kakariko village. You will have to find the Tal’nog Narg Shrine and head into the forest behind it. If she’s the 1st fairy that you have come across you will need Rupees 100 to wake her up.
Great Fairy Mija
This fairy is located to the northeast directly East of Akkala tower. You will find the forest on the cliffside when you head East from this tower and glide over Lake Akkala. Go into the forest and you will find her. It will cost you 500 to interact with her.
Great Fairy Kayasa
This great Fairy can be found in the west of Hyrule, South of the Tabantha Tower. To find her glide South of the tower till you find a plateau slightly Southeast of there. If you look at your map you are aiming for the plateau with a small lake.
Great Fairy Tera
This fairy is the most out-of-the-way fairy you will meet as she is tucked under a skeleton in the Southwest of the map in the Gerudo desert which is a bit away from Dragon’s Exile. To find this telephone pin the skeleton to your map and then follow the path to reach there.
It s a straight way from Gerudo Town, so you might come across a sandstorm on the way there. This could even disable your Sheikah state making you vulnerable. But no matter what keep heading in the straight direction from this town and you will even find Skeletons Tera hiding under. If you can make your way to this last ferry you will get a massive 10000 rupees.
