All Taoist House Key Locations in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Published by

Are you also searching for the Wo Long Taoist House Key but failing to find it? Do not worry because this guide is going to help you.

As you enter Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s Hidden Village, you’ll come across a small loot-filled area that may seem inaccessible at first. Although the entire region is visible, there’s a small house blocking the only viable path to it. When you interact with the front door, you’ll see a ‘locked’ icon, indicating that you can’t enter yet. To start your quest for the keys, you need to speak to the woman standing next to the house.

While not officially listed as a side quest, obtaining the Wo Long Taoist House Key requires players to traverse a significant portion of the game. To unlock the Taoist’s house, you’ll need to locate the two primary keys, which will grant you access to the first piece of loot in the backyard. The last stage of this ‘quest’ will necessitate the exchange of certain materials with the Taoist in return for the final keys.

Gameplay

Taoist’s House Location

Deep within the Hidden Village lies the Taoist’s residence. Starting from the initial point, players must descend to the forge before moving on to the subsequent platform. The loot will be enticingly visible on the right side, tempting players to make multiple attempts at reaching it. The Taoist herself is often seen standing outside of her abode, ready to answer any questions related to the keys.

Where to Find The Wo Long Taoist House Key

As you approach the woman who owns the locked house, engaging with her will reveal a clue to the key’s whereabouts. She recalls losing the key while training up the mountain, providing only a meager lead for players to follow. With so little information, it’s reasonable for players to assume that the Wo Long Taoist House Key might be hidden somewhere within the Hidden Village. However, unfortunately, this isn’t the case, and the key is located elsewhere.

The Wo Long Taoist House Key is an essential item that players can obtain during the Part 3 quest, “In Search of the Immortal Wizard.” This mission is one of the ‘main battlefield’ quests, which are integral parts of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s primary storyline. To progress through the game, players must complete this quest and claim the Taoist House Key.

To acquire the key, players must progress toward the end of the stage and defeat Zhupolong, the demon crocodile. Once players have raised the final battle flag, they should leave the cave and look for a small alcove in the rock.

The key will be there, waiting to be claimed. After obtaining the key, players can finish the level and proceed to the next stage. Handing the key over to the lady will unlock the front door and earn players a weapon drop inside. While unlocking the front door rewards players with Bronze Duel Swords, the most valuable loot is located outside.

Wo Long Taoist House Key for Backdoor

The key to unlocking the Taoist’s back door is obtainable during the Part 5 quest titled “War’s Flame Blaze Fiercely.” As players progress through the level, they’ll eventually reach a chamber with a dragon’s head entrance, which is unmissable due to its unique appearance.

Initially filled with water, players must drain the chamber to reveal the key’s location. It can be found in a small alcove located on the left side of the entrance. Players should be wary of the shuigui, mermaid demons that patrol the area, as they can be challenging to defeat when encountered in groups. Once players have the key and unlock the backdoor, they can claim the Dragon Vein Essence, a valuable item in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

In addition to the front and back doors, there are also three locked chests inside the Taoist’s house that can be opened with keys obtained from the lady. To acquire the keys, players must offer her various items, including a fire pot, anti-freeze soil, and mystic crane, in that order. Upon opening the chests, players will receive a top-level Qi chest, top-level upgrade materials, and top-level gear respectively, making it a valuable reward for completing the quest.
