With every Pokemon game, we also get to encounter some cool legendaries. Here is a list of all the Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Legendary and Mythic Pokémon are some of the most sought-after Pokemon in any game in the series, and Pokemon Legends Arceus is no exception. You can catch all of these Pokemon that are returning to the game for its very first adventure in the Hisui region. There are a total of 18 of them in Pokemon Legends Arceus, but players will only be able to obtain two of them before completing the main storyline.
Players will be able to begin hunting down the rest of these formidable Pokemon once the post-game begins, with the majority of them related to requests and additional story missions. Those who want to catch all of the Mythical and Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus will have their work cut out for them.
Dialga and Palkia appear near the end of the main plot. After completing the mission to locate the Red Chain, the sky takes on an unusual appearance, and you must choose between Adaman and Irida. This determines which legendary you receive first: if you choose Adaman, you will receive Dialga, whereas if you choose Irida, you will receive Palkia.
All you have to do now is catch the Pokémon you chose in the Temple of Sinnoh. The second legendary Pokémon: Arceus then breaks through the wall, launching you onto the next stage. The legendary transforms into its Origin Form, and you must fight it while avoiding the legendary’s Draco Meteor and shockwaves. You immediately catch it when you’re finished.
These three will appear during the main campaign of Pokemon Legends Arceus, but you won’t be able to catch them until after you’ve completed the main story. You’ll need to go to the Survey HQ and accept “The Researcher of Myths” once you’ve completed the main plot. This will lead you to Cogita, who will offer you “The Plate of the Lakes” request. Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf can be found at Lake Acuity North, Lake Verity West, and Lake Valor North, respectively.
Heatran can be found on Firespit Island in the Cobalt Coastlands region as part of story mission #22, which is unlocked after finishing the main plot by speaking with Cogita. They must first decrease the formidable Fire-type Pokemon’s barrier by pelting it with Mud Balls before engaging it in battle.
After completing the main plot, players must speak with Cogita in the Ancient Retreat to begin story mission #23 and catch Cresselia. They’ll need to travel to the Moonview Arena in the Coronet Highlands to speak with Warden Melli after that. They’ll find themselves in the arena after the conversation, where Cresselia is waiting.
Regigigas can be found in Snowpoint Temple, which is located in the Alabaster Icelands area, much like in previous games. They must first complete story mission #24 by completing the main story and interacting with Cogita. With that out of the way, they should proceed to the lower levels of the temple. The Icicle, Iron, and Stone plates will open a massive stone door, allowing you to enter Regigigas’ chamber.
Before you can catch Giratina, you must finish the “Plate Quests.” To put it another way, you must first capture Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Heatran, Regigigas, and Cresselia before pursuing Giratina.
After that, you’ll be able to complete the “Seeking The Remaining Plates” request. You’ll have to fight Volo as a result of this quest. Return to Jubilife Village and accept the Professor’s proposal to join him “On the Trail of Giratina.” After that, you’ll be able to travel to Turnback Cave, where you’ll be able to catch a Giratina.
Go to the Galaxy HQ and speak with Cogita after defeating Volo at the Temple of Sinnoh as part of the Giratina quest chain. Accept the request for the “Incarnate Forces of Hisui,” which will take you to Landorus, Tornadus, and Thundurus.
Landorus can be encountered at any time in Ramnas Park, Tornadus can be found in Bonechill Wastes during a snowstorm, and Thundurus can be caught during a thunderstorm in the seas of Cobalt Coastlands at the Coastland Campsite. Once you’ve located them, you can catch them in the usual methods. After catching those three Pokémon, you must return to Cogita, who will provide you with a hint that will lead you to Enamorus’ location. From there, it can be found in the Scarlet-Bog.
You’ll need a Buizel, a Mantyke, and an Overquil on your team before you can catch these Pokémon. Head to Cobalt Coastlands with those three on your list and rest until the evening. Riding Basculegion to the big stone spires at the end of Sand’s Reach is the next step.
If you travel between those spires, you should get a notification indicating that something is moving close by. Then head to Seaside Hollow, a cave at the center of the Cobalt Coastlands area that was only recently discovered. A Manaphy and many Phione can be found inside. Catch the Manaphy and as many Phione as you want.
Players must have the save data from either Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl on their Switch in order to catch Darkrai. After they finish the main plot, a special request will emerge on the blackboard in Galaxy Hall, assuming they do. They’ll be able to find Darkrai near the Clamberclaw Cliffs area of the Coronet Highlands after accepting it, but only at night.
Players will require the save data from either Sword or Shield on their Switch in order to catch Shaymin. After they finish the main plot, a special request will emerge on the blackboard in Galaxy Hall, assuming they do. After accepting it, they must travel to the Obsidian Fieldlands’ Fieldlands Camp and meet with Medi, who will describe a Pokemon she recalls from her youth.
Shaymin can then be found in the northwest part of the Obsidian Fieldlands, in the Floaro Gardens area. Those who wish to change Shaymin into its Sky Forme can do so by utilizing the Gracidea flower that Medi had given them previously.
To catch Arceus, players must first find 240 of the game’s 242 Pokemon (except for Shaymin and Darkrai) and then meet with Professor Laventon. He’ll advise you to visit the Temple of Sinnoh, which is located at the summit of Mount Coronet in the Coronet Highlands. Once there, players must play the Lunar Flute in order for Arceus to appear. After defeating it in a Noble Pokemon-style battle, they’ll be awarded the Legend Plate and the God Pokemon will be added to their roster.
