He launched his first line of clothing through Macy’s in 2011 and also signed a deal with Scholastic to write children’s stories. In 2005, he suffered cartilage damage and then was forced to wear goggles for the rest of his career due to an eye surgery in 2008.

Stoudemire opted out of his contract with The Suns and signed for The Knicks in 2010. He joined hands with Carmelo Anthony to give New York a fresh sense of belief. He showcased his abilities well in the 2010-11 season but Stoudemire could not escape his fitness problems. Eventually, he got dropped to the bench and bought out of his sizeable contract.
