At only 25, Anett Kontaveit achieved her best singles ranking of No. 8 on November 1,2021, becoming the highest-ranked Estonian singles player of all time, and peaked at No. 95 in the WTA doubles rankings on 2 March 2020. There, Kontaveit beat Casey Dellacqua, 31st seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Madison Brengle to reach the fourth round before losing to Venus Williams. With this result Kontaveit broke into the top 100 for the first time, moving up over 60 places.

At the French Open in 2018, she was seeded 25th and reached the fourth round. She continued to impress in Grand Slams and reached the quarter-final of the Australian Open last year.

In Wimbledon she got till the third round and despite the loss, she made it to the 19 in world rankings. Since then there has been no looking back and due to her hard work she is currently World No.8.

Anett was born on 24th December 1995 in Tallinn, the most populous and capital city of Estonia. She resides in Viimsi, Estonia. 

Kontaveit’s father’s name is Andrus, who is working as a manager at Port of Tallinn and her mother’s name is Ulle Milk. Her mother is a tennis coach herself.

As of now the tennis star is not dating anyone. The tennis sensation has never posted about a romantic interest on social media, or mentioned anything while giving interviews and talking to press. 

It is not known whether had she dated anyone in the past. Kontaveit’s relationship is currently non-existent.
